Hi! I'm Marie, a 23-year-old creative portrait photographer based in Omaha, Nebraska.
I have been doing photography my whole life. Even as a little girl, I would take photos on the little Canon disposable cameras from Walgreens. My parents bought me a beginner camera my freshman year of high school, and from there I worked long 40 hour weeks at only 16-years-old to save up for equipment. I grew my business from the ground up with the help of my loved ones.
I have always been creative and as I got older, I realized how fulfilling a career in photography is. I love when clients come into my studio shy & nervous, and they leave my studio excited & feeling beautiful. As a woman I know how scary it can be to get in front of a camera and be confident, but I will do everything in my power to make you feel like your most beautiful, confident self. I have grown to love doing my own photos and being in front of the camera myself.
As of April this year, I officially opened my first storefront studio location. Prior to having a storefront location, I offered in-home studio services. Opening was so bittersweet. I am located in South Omaha, which is where I grew up. I love looking at how far I have came thanks to my amazing clients who keep me booked and busy.
I am eternally grateful for my husband who also made this possible, by completely renovating my entire space by himself in only one week. He has been by my side for 10 years now and he is the best unpaid assistant a girl could ask for. He also builds all of my props, so if you can dream it, we can do it! Recently he also joined my company as a photographer.
My husband and I are the parents of our beautiful daughter, 2 cats, and 1 dog.
